Police have arrested Dhana Maya Budathoki, 31 of Liwang municipality on October 12 on charge of murdering her six years old daughter Jhakma Budathoki of Liwang Municipality-2, Khumel.
The victim was murdered by the accused on the night of October 11 by attacking her with wood according to inspector Keshav Bahadur Basnet on District Police Office.
The accused who is also nine months pregnant is suffering from mental illness according to the locals. the accused was arrested after the locals complained about the incident at Area Police Office.
The postmortem of the body was conducted at Sulichaur Primary Health Center on October 12 according to the police.
