Police have arrested Kishun Dev Ram, 33 and his second wife Chanda Ram, 21 on September 27 on charge of polygamy. They were arrested based on a complaint lodged by his first wife Sabitardevi Ram, 30 of Paterwa VDC-8.
The victim had registered a case against them at District Police Office on September 23 against the accused.
The victim said that the accused had expelled her from the house along with her 10-year-old son after marrying with Chanda.
