The District Court of Ilam has ordered to sentence Tej Prasad Lakandri, 51 of Mahamai VDC-8 for three months with penalty of Rs 5,000 on charge of intentional rape on eight years old girl. Prior to this, the accused was remanded in the custody.
A single bench of district court judge Nawa Raj Dahal has given a verdict regarding the case on September 11.
The complaint against the accused was lodged at District Court by villagers on October 1 2015 on charge of intentional rape on victim on September 4.
