In a press conference held on July 5, 2021, a 28-year-old victim has informed that she has lodged a complaint at the District Police Office on July 4, alleging Suryanarayan Yadav, 36, of Hanumannagar Kankalini Municipality-14 of attempted rape.
The accused had tried to rape her on July 3 at night while she was asleep. It is alleged that the accused escaped after the family members and villagers woke up while the victim shouted and escaped from the control of the accused.
According to SP Rajendra Dhamala of the District Police Office, after the complaint was filed, the Area Police Office reported it as a case of a dispute. Therefore, to investigate more about the incident, a team of the case department of the District Police Office was delegated to the scene of the incident on July 4.
A team of Inspector Ram Sagar Singh of the District Police Office has gone to the spot on July 6 to discover more about the incident. The victim’s health has not been tested.
