A complaint has been filed against Bhakta Bahadur Tamang, 71, of Panchkhapan Municipality-2 at the District Police Office on July 4, 2021, on the charge of raping a 15-year-old girl.
In a phone conversation with the INSEC representative, inspector Kabin Rai informed that the victim has lodged a complaint with the police against the accused of raping her on May 24, 2021.
Inspector Rai said that search was ongoing for the accused who had absconded immediately after the victim’s complaint. According to Inspector Rai, complaint was delayed because the incident took place in the border area of Taplejung.
The girl has been examined at the District Hospital on July 5, 2021.
