Police have arrested Rabindra Bahadur Chand, 23, of Shivanath Rural Municipality-4 on July 2, 2021, on the charge of attempting to rape a 25-year-old woman.
The relatives of the victim told the INSEC representative that they had lodged FIR at the District Police Office, Baitadi after the accused tried to rape the woman on June 27.
Inspector Darshan Khadka of the District Police Office, Baitadi told the INSEC representative that the accused was arrested and a case of attempted rape was registered against him on June 29.
According to Inspector Khadka, the victim was examined at the District Hospital, Baitadi on June 29.
