Police have arrested Raj Niraula, 23, of Itahari Sub-Metropolitan-10 on May 16, 2021, on charges of raping a 15-year-old girl.
The victim had lodged a complaint against the accused at the Area Police Office, Itahari on May 16 claiming that the accused had raped her on May 14.
According to DSP Narendra Kumar Karki of the District Police Office, the accused was arrested on the basis of a complaint lodged by the victim.
The girl was examined at the District Hospital on May 16.
