The dead bodies of nine-year-old Usman Miya and seven-year-old Amaan Miya, the sons of Abdul Gaffar of Rangpur Tole of Kalaiya Sub-Metropolitan-7, were found at Madrasa Salfia Kanjul Ulum with their throats slit.
According to the victim’s family and police, the killer has not been identified yet. On May 17, their mother had gone to attend the funeral of a neighbour and when she returned, they were missing.
SP Dipendra Shahi and DSP Gautam Mishra team of the District Police Office had reached the spot on May 18 after locals reported about the dead bodies.
The post-mortem of the body was conducted at Kalaiya Hospital on May 18. DSP Gautam Mishra said that the incident was being investigated by mobilizing trained dogs, Nepal Police’s technology and resources.
Mishra said the victim’s family has complained to the District Police Office on May 18 for necessary action.
