Police have arrested a 19-year-old relative from his house on May 16 on charges of raping a 25-year-old woman.
The victim had lodged a complaint at the District Police Office on May 16 alleging that the accused had raped her on May 14.
According to DSP Satyanarayan Thapa of the District Police Office, action has been taken on the basis of the victim’s complaint.
The victim underwent a medical examination at Bhim Hospital, Bhairahawa on May 16.
