The provincial government has disbursed NRs. 38.5 million for the management of prevention, control, and treatment of COVID-19.
A meeting of the Corona Public Security Fund, Fund Management Committee on May 6 decided to disburse the required amount for the prevention, control, and treatment of COVID-19 in the health institutions of the province.
A sum of NRs. 5 million has been allocated to the Provincial Health Supply Management Centre, Biratnagar for the management of COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment-related items including sanitizers, masks, PPE sets, antigen kits, emergency medicines required for Koshi Hospital, COVID-19 treatment centre and other hospitals.
The Office of the Chief Minister and the Office of the Council of Ministers has decided to disburse NRs. 2.5 million to Mechi Hospital, Rs. 2 million to District Hospital Sunsari, NRs. 2 million to District Hospital Dhankuta.

The meeting of the Corona Public Security Fund has decided to disburse NRs. 11.5 million for the establishment of isolation, operation and treatment in the District Hospital, Illam, Tehrathum, Bhojpur, Sankhuwasabha, Udaypur, Solukhumbu, Khotang, Okhaldhunga, Madan Bhandari Hospital and Trauma Centre, and District Hospital of Taplejung.
According to Dhruva Subedi, the Press Advisor of the Chief Minister of Province 1, NRs. 2 million has been disbursed to District Administration Office, Jhapa, NRs. 1.5 million to Sunsari and Ilam, Rs. 20 lakhs to District Administration Office, Morang, NRs. 1.5 million to Holding Centre of Harkapur, Okhaldhunga, for its management and operation. NRs. Five Hundred Thousand each to the holding centres of Bhojpur, Tehrathum, Sankhuwasabha, Dhankuta, Khotang, Okhaldhunga, Solukhumbu, Udaypur, Panchthar and Taplejung.
