Kamalesh Sah, 25, of Lahan Municipality-21 has lodged a complaint against the 19-year-old girl.
According to the victim’s mother, the accused had tried to rape the victim on March 29 and had lodged a complaint at the Area Police Office, Lahan on April 2.
The victim has been examined at Ram Kumar Umaprasad Hospital, Lahan on April 2. DSP Dr. Tapan Kumar Dahal of Area Police Office Lahan said that the search was on as the accused was absconding.
