Police have arrested Jamire Ali aka Ajay, 35, of Sammarimai Rural Municipality-5 on February 15 on the charge of raping a 31-year-old woman.
According to DSP Satya Narayan Thapa, the victim had lodged a complaint at the District Police Office on February 9.
The victim has been examined at Bhim Hospital, Bhairahawa on February 15.
