Police have arrested Yam Prasad Bhattarai, 22, of Kispang Rural Municipality-6 from Dhunche on January 9 on the charge of raping a six-year-old girl.
According to DSP Indra Subedi, the victim’s mother had lodged a complaint against Bhattarai at the District Police Office on January 9 alleging that the girl was raped by the accused.
The girl has been examined at Dhunche Hospital on January 9.
According to the District Police Office, a case has been registered against the accused Bhattarai and an investigation is underway into the incident.
