Police have arrested Prakash Poudel, 26, of Bardaghat Municipality-12, Bhataulia on December 10 on charges of raping an 11-year-old girl.
According to DSP Raju Lama of the District Police Office, the victim lodged a complaint at the Area Police Office, Bardaghat on the same day.
The victim has been examined at Prithvi Chandra District Hospital on December 9.
