Police have arrested Resham Dayali, 20, of Khandbari Municipality-6 on October 8 on the charge of killing 68-year-old Goma Devi Chaulagain.
A dispute had vented between the victim and the accused on October 7 and the locals had informed the police that the old woman had died on the spot.
Inspector Santosh Budathoki of the District Police Office said that the accused was arrested for investigation after the locals provided information about the accused.
The post-mortem of the body has been done at BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences, Dharan (Ghopa) on October 8.
