Police arrested six people from Nepalgunj on November 16 for the charges of vandalism, arson, looting, and theft at the Tulsipur, Nepalgunj High Court bench during the protests on September 9. According to Dipak Patali, Spokesperson for the District Police Office, Banke, the arrested are: Ravi Kumar Baishya,34, of Nepalgunj Sub-Metropolitan City-4, Bablu Godiya,26, of Sub-Metropolitan City-10, Gangasagar Verma,28, of Sub-Metropolitan City-9, Tahir Halwai,18, of Sub-Metropolitan City-5, Asanraj Siddiqui,26, of Sub-Metropolitan City-4, and Omraj Soni,29, of Sub-Metropolitan City-9.
Spokesperson Patali stated that a case under the charge of criminal disturbance has been filed against the accused for legal action, and the investigation period was extended by five days on November 17.
