A complaint was filed at the Area Police Office, Haripur, on March 22, by the victim’s family, accusing Rabi Kumar Chaudhary, 23, of Haripur Municipality-7, Chitain, of sexually abusing a 16-year-old girl on March 8.
According to Inspector Shiva Katel, the accused has absconded following the incident.
The victim underwent a medical examination on March 20 at Sarlahi District Hospital, Malangawa.
