Shortage of medicine in Dadeldhura

Locals in Dadekdhura have complained of not getting free medicine provided by the government. The government has been providing 35 types of medicine free to patients from various health posts however patients are facing medicine crunch.

Informal Sector Service (INSEC) had organized a program on human rights situation of the district and the relation between the beneficiaries and service provider on June 4 and while speaking at the program, the participants complained of not getting free medicine from the health posts.

Shanker Bhatta, representative from District Health Office said that medicine has been already sent to respective department.

He added that 32 health organizations have already been provided with the medicine. The program was organized in coordination with Jaycees Dadeldhura and while speaking at the program, the participants said that such program must be operated in local level.

Speaking at the program CDO Mohan Raj Joshi of Dadeldhura urged government employees to do their work in responsible way.

CDO Joshi added that District Administration office will expedite the market monitoring to control the criminal activities and black marketing.
