The government, privates and other hospitals of the district are facing shortage of Tetanus Vaccine from the last one week.
The vaccine is in shortage in all 10 local levels due to the less production according to pharmacy incharge Sulav Adhikari of Rapti Zonal Hospital.
This shortage is creating difficulties in treatment and people are compelled to pay high price on their travel for immunization in other districts.
Officer Keshav Raj Pandit of District Public Health however said that the shortage is due to the less production and this issue will be solved soon.
