Police have arrested Anit Kumar Shah, 24, of Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan-3 on June 2, 2022, on the charge of raping a 24-year-old girl.
The mother of the victim told the INSEC representative that she had lodged a complaint against the accused after it was revealed that the accused had been raping the victim since August 2021 and had threatened not to marry her on May 2.
According to DSP Ved Prakash Joshi of the District Police Office, the accused has been arrested after the victim lodged a complaint with the police on June 2.
The health checkup of the victim has been examined at Seti Provincial Hospital, Dhagadhi on June 2.
