A complaint was filed by the victim’s family on May 1 at the District Police Office, accusing Roshan Balambu Magar, 22, of Barmetol-6, Kapilbastu Municipality, of raping a 16-year-old girl on February 3.
The search for the absconded accused is ongoing, as per DSP Ripendra Kumar Singh of the DPO.
The victim underwent a medical examination on April 30 at Kapilbastu Hospital, Taulihawa.
