Police arrested Chandan Tiwari, 25, of Shivaraj Municipality-5, Chandrauta, on April 7 on charges of raping a 14-year-old girl on April 6. The victim’s family filed a complaint against the accused on April 8 at the Ward Police Office, Chandrauta.
The victim underwent a medical examination on April 8 at Shivaraj Hospital, Bahadurgunj.
