The police have arrested Bhutan Sah, alias Ramjanam Sah, 50, of Birgunj Municipality-15, Bhediyahi, on March 8 on charges of raping a 17-year-old girl on the same day. The victim’s side filed a complaint on the same day with the police. The joint team dispatched from Ward Police Office, Shripur, and Police Post, Bishwadaanda, arrested the accused, and the police have stated that further investigation is underway. The girl’s medical examination was conducted on the same day at Narayani Hospital, Birgunj.
Escapee from Jhumka Jail Arrested
An inmate who had escaped from the Regional Jail in
