Police arrested Ajay Pariyar, 26, of Putalibazar Municipality–4, Syangja, on Poush 3 on charges of raping a 50-year-old woman, according to Inspector Kamal Nepali of the District Police Office, Syangja.
The victim’s side filed a complaint at the District Police Office, Syangja, on December 18, alleging that the accused raped the woman on the night of December 17.
The woman’s medical examination was conducted on Poush 4 at the Provincial Hospital, Syangja.
