Police arrested Badriraj Giri, 79,of Chautara Sangachokgadhi-11 on 7 December for the charge raping a 13-year-old girl. According to Inspector Rupesh Shah of the District Police Office, the aggrieved party had filed a complaint on 5 December, stating that the accused had raped the girl on 5 November. The victim’s medical examination was conducted on 5 December at Chautara Hospital.
