Police arrested Dhansingh Bogati, 30, of Tanjakot Rural Municipality-4, Pema, on 1 December for the charge of raping a 79-year-old woman. Inspector Jangbahadur Singh stated that the aggrieved party had filed a complaint at the Humla District Police Office on 1 December, alleging that he raped the victim at her house on 28 November.
Inspector Singh stated that a rape case was registered against Bogati on 2 November based on same the complaint and the investigation is ongoing. Senior ANM Sarita Bohara of Humla District Hospital informed that the victim underwent a medical examination at the hospital on 1 November.
