A 21-year-old man from Airawati Rural Municipality–5 was arrested on November 23, 2025 after a complaint was filed alleging raping a 16-year-old girl.
According to Inspector Yuvankumar Chaudhary of the District Police Office, the complaint was formally registered on November 24. The suspect was taken into custody the previous day based on an initial report.
The girl received a health examination on November 23 at the District Hospital in Bijuwa.
