A complaint has been filed on October 31 at the Area Police Office, Krishnanagar, against Kushal Dhuniya, 21 of Bhagwanpur, Krishnanagar Municipality–12, on charges of abducting, holding captive, and raping a 16-year-old girl on October 2.
Based on the complaint filed by the victim’s side, investigations have been initiated, and since the accused is on the run, a search operation is underway, according to DSP Ritendra Kumar Singh of the Kapilvastu District Police Office.
The victim’s medical examination was conducted on October 31 at Kapilvastu Hospital, Taulihawa.
