Police have arrested Dilip Kumar Yadav, 47 of Mechinagar Municipality–13, Ilam Road, on October 12, 2025 on charges of raping a 27-year-old woman on October 4.
According to police, the arrest was made based on a complaint filed by the victim’s side at the District Police Office on October 11.
The victim underwent a medical examination at Mechi Provincial Hospital, Bhadrapur, on the next day.
