Police arrested Mohammad Isha, 41 of Lahan Municipality-5 on October 3 for the charge of raping a 14-year-old girl with a disability. According to DSP Kailash Rai, a complaint was filed at the Area Police Office, Lahan, on September 22, with the support of an organization, alleging that the accused had raped the girl on September 19.
The girl underwent a medical examination at the Provincial Hospital in Lahan on September 22.
