Police have arrested Tek Bahadur Dhami, 33, of Dharan Sub-Metropolitan-17 on August 16 on charges of attempting to rape a 55-year-old woman.
DSP Gyanendra Bahadur Basnet of the Area Police Office informed INSEC representative that the victim had lodged a complaint against the accused at the Area Police Office, Dharan on August 16. The victim had informed that the accused had shown her a sharp weapon and tried to rape her.
Health checkup of the victim was conducted on August 16 at the BP Koirala Institute of Health Science.
