President Bidhya Devi Bhandari has called for the Federal Parliament Budget Conference on 8 May 2020, 4 pm.
The Cabinet of Ministers had requested President to call for this conference. Budget Conferences discuss the government’s policies and programs, present budget and approve it.
According to the Constitutional Management, Annual Fiscal Budget is presented in the Federal Assembly on 28 May. Before presenting the Budget, the President presents the government’s policies and programs.
