According to the Ministry of Health and Population, on 2 April, a person was found positive with COVID-19 which makes it a total of six patients nationwide.

According to the District Representative of Baglung; Srijana Pant, a 65-year old woman was found positive with COVID- 19. She was one of the travellers of Qatar Airlines flight- QR652. To control Coronavirus, Siranchowk Rural Municipality has established ‘Corona Response Group’ which has been awaring people about Corona through micing. This group also monitors the ones returning home and sees if they are maintaining home quarantine or not.

Ambulances were used for transporting people instead of patients; hence the policemen have started monitoring the ambulances too from 2 April. Ambulance drivers are afraid of carrying patients with fever. They are being warned for not carrying anyone except their family members.

According to the District Representative of Kaski, Sushan Ghimire, lockdown is completed implemented in this district. Till 3 April, 22 people have dialled the hotline of Hello Doctor- 1092 and took its service. 16 people are staying in the quarantine at the Agriculture Training Centre of Malepatan from the past 8 days. In Kaski, there have been 26 swab tests out of which 20 tests are negative and six reports are pending. The local levels have made it compulsory to give a test before entering the district. They have established a health desk.

According to the District Representative of Parbat, Santosh Thapa, today there weren’t anyone with a swab test. The ones visiting the 52 fever clinics were directly taken to Parbat Hospital for treatment. These people were told to stay in quarantine for 14 days but this hasn’t not been effectively implemented. Out of 687 people, only two of them are staying in quarantine of Byas Municipality-5.

Likewise, it is seen that people are negligent in obeying lockdown and following social distancing. People have started gathering with an excuse of buying vegetables, hence the ward office has close the vegetable market. They are providing basic vegetables through doorstep delivery service.
