Police has arrested a 17-year-old boy of Hupsekot Rural Municipality-1 on 10 March 2020 accusing him of raping a 17-year-old girl. The victim was raped on 10 October 2019 and the complaint was filed on 10 March 2020 at the District Police Office Nawalparasi (Susta East). After the complaint, police has arrested the accused and investigation in ongoing, informed SP Dipak Regmi of District Police Office, Nawalparasi (Susta East).
The incident was publicized after the victim was found to be pregnant. Health checkup and treatment of the victim was conducted on 10 March at the Chitwan District Hospital Bharatpur.
