Police has arrested 21 years old Netra Bikram Chand (Biplov) lead CPN cadre Rajan Saud of Bannigadi Jayagadh Rural Municipality-5, Accham district and currently residing at Pokhara Metropolitan City-1, Bagar on 2 August.
As per the DSP Rajkumar KC of District police office Kaski, Saud was arrested for general inquiry.
DSP KC said Saud has accepted that he belongs to student union of Biplov and if necessary he can be further detained for investigation after inquiry.
Ramesh Bastola, Kaski district coordinator of journalist union of CPN condemned the arrest of Saud who is also member of journalist union and as asks for his release.
Bastola also urged the government to respect the right of press and freedom of expression.
Police had arrested 18 people including Saud from Annapurna Rural Municipality-11 on 8 June and later 5 people including Saud was released on 15 July.
