The District Court of Dang has ordered to sentence 22 years old Manoj KC of Babai Rural Municipality-2 for six years on June 4 after finding him guilty on raping 15 years old girl.
A single bench of district court judge Hemanta Rawal had given the verdict regarding the case. The court has also ordered for the compensation of Rs 50,000 to the victim.
The victim was raped in 2018, May 9 and the family had lodged complaint at Area Police of Tulsipur on May 10 against the accused.
He was arrested on a same day and victim underwent health checkup at Rapti Provincial hospital on a same day.
