Dil Bahadur Rai of Dhankuta Municipality-1, doing journalism in Dharan Sub-metropolis station was attacked on June 3. He was attacked in the office of DBR Online TC channel. He sustained head injuries and had several stitches on his head. A complaint was lodged at police on June 4. A complaint against 17 years old boy is lodged at police on charge of attacking him inside the office premises.
The accused had attacked the victim with a stone. The victim has demanded for the security and lodged complaint of misbehavior according to DSP Dhundi Raj Neupane of Area Police Office.
A team of journalist from FNJ went to Area Police Office of Dharan to lodge complaint.
