Patient air lifted to Kathmandu after not getting treatment for four months

Chataul lama, 49 of Namkha Rural Municipality-3 was airlifted to Kathmandu for treatment after she could not receive treatment at health post at Namkha Rural Municipality-3.

The victim was suffering from uterus ailment and could not receive treatment at local health post as there were no health professionals present.

She was airlifted in a chartered chopper according to her husband Lamacap lama.

He added that she was airlifted by paying Rs 8,00,000 by taking loan after no health professionals were present in the health post.

Health Coordinator Dan Bahadur Bohara of Namkha Rural Municipality accepted that there are no health professionals in the health post.

He added that three health professionals are in training and two of them could not come to the health post due to the severe snowfall.

The victim is undergoing treatment at KMC in Kathmandu.
