The inmate at District Prison of Gulmi attempted to commit suicide be slitting his throat with blade. Ruk Bahadur Rakashkoti,32 of Chatrakot Rural Municipality-2 attempted a suicide on February 20.
He was convicted by the court on killing case. He was ordered to sentence for 20 years by the district court.
Ruk Bahadur had severely intimidated 34 years old Sher Bahadur Rakaskoti and he succumbed the injuries next day according to police. He was arrested by the police on July 19 and was remanded in custody on August 3.
SP Deepak Kumar Basnet of DPO said that he was suffering from depression.
