The District Court of Udayapur has ordered to sentence 28 years old Devendra Rai of Belaka Municipality-9 for 10 years along with compensation of 1,00,000 after finding him guilty on raping 10 years old girl.
A single bench of district court judge has given the order regarding the case on January 22.The accused had raped the girl on August 3 and victim’s party had lodged complaint against him at police post on August 4. The victim underwent health checkup at B.P institute of health and science on August 4. He was arrested on a same day by police and was remanded in custody by the court order on August 28.
