An unidentified person has opened fire on 50 years old Fida Hussain of Duhabi Municipality-9, Sonpur in the morning of November 21. The victim was out for the morning walk when he was shot dead.
Two people in a motorbike opened fire and he died on the spot according to SP Rajan Adhikari of District Police Office of Sunsari.
SP Adhikari said that the assailants absconded to Biratnagar after opening fire. Locals have protested demanding the security of citizens.
Police said that the postmortem of the body will be conducted after the police formalities. Prior to this , Khursid Alam was shot dead in Bhutaha of Sunsari by an unidentified people. Police have failed to nab the accused till date.
