Demonstrator and police constable injured in a clash

A security personal and a demonstrator was injured in a clash with police on November 12 during the burning effigy of Prime Minister by Nepal Students Union, a sister wing of Nepali Congress.

The clash started while the protesters attempted to burn Prime Minister’s effigy.

In a clash police constable Laxman Bahadur Shrestha, 36 and District member Pralhad Khatri of NSU were injured.

Both the injured were taken to the hospital for treatment. The demonstration was against the arrest of NSU cadre of Kavre.

Police had arrested Krishna Dhakal of Kavre on charge of sharing Prime Minister’s cartoon photo in a social networking site.
