The District Court of Pyuthan has ordered to sentence 31 years old Gorkhe Pun of Naubahini Rural Municipality-1 for three years after finding him guilty on attempting to rape 13 years old girl.
A single bench of district court judge Bishnu Prasad Gautam had given the verdict on October 30.
The victim was attempted to rape by the convict on July 17 and complaint against him was lodged at District Police Office on July 20. He was presented to the court on July 21 and was remanded in custody since August 6.
The victim underwent health checkup on July 16 according to the police.
