Police have said that 24 years old Rubi Thakur of Laxminiya Rural Municipality-4, Sapahi was beaten to death by her husband Sanjaya Yadav.
The Area Police Office of Dhanusha said that the accused had severely beaten the victim on October 26 living her unconscious and later she died according to police.
Husband is at large after seriously injuring and killing his wife according to inspector Arun Kushawa of Area Police Office of Mahendranagar.
According to locals there was a dispute between the couple from the last three days.
The postmortem of the body was conducted at Janakpur Zonal Hospital and accused is at large according to police. The victim has two years old daughter.
