Informal Sector Service Centre (INSEC) along with many other organizations have jointly observed seventh girls day in Birendra Nagar on October 11.
Vice house spokesperson of Karnali Province Pushpa Gharti said that parents, civil society and media must show their solidarity for the security of girls.
Gharti also showed her commitment to improve the situation of girls and their issues.
During the program INSEC staged a program on child rights and against child marriage.
In a stall, INSEC facilitated against child marriage stating that it is a crime. The participants were informed about the disadvantages of child marriage.
Meanwhile, INSEC had distributed the hand book related to childrights, fundamental rights, introduction of child rights awareness group, Human Rights Year Book and many other informative hand books related to human rights.
In a program an awareness drama related to Chaupadi ill practices and child marriage were staged according to INSEC provincial coordinator Narayan Subedi of Karnali Province.
