The District Court of Baitadi has ordered to give life sentence along with the confiscation of property of 22 years old Umesh Prasad Joshi of Dilashaini Rural Municipality-4 on October 5 after finding him guilty on killing 16 years old Dambara Bhatta of Purchaudi Municipality-4.
A single bench of District Court judge Madhav Prasad Adhikari had given the verdict regarding the case. The victim was killed after rape on March 1 in her rented room at Purchaudi Municipality-1,Haat.
Her body was recovered from her room hanging. The victim’s party had registered case against him on March 2.The accused is at District prison of Baitadi.
