The victim’s party of Pawan Adhikari, an accountant of Bhangaha Municipality have accused 29 years old mayor Sanjeev Shah, of same Municipality of beating him on September 27.
The victim said that the mayor slapped him in a small dispute over the accounting. He added that he will lodge complaint against him for misbehaving.
The accused mayor has accepted that the accountant was slapped after he threatened him while asking for accounts.
