The beneficiaries are compelled to go to other district after the X-ray service of the district hospital is disrupted from the last 2 weeks according to the hospital.
The service was disrupted after the electricity was disrupted on September 4 by the landslide in three places where there is a canal of Hydro electricity Centre. All patients coming for X-ray are being referred to Nepalgunj according to hospital source.
Other services are being provided with the help of solar power however X-ray service could not be provided according to acting chief Dr Him Bikram Shahi of District Hospital.
Federal affairs and local development ministry have been notified to provide alternatives sources when these machines could not be operated.
Majority of patients suffering from flu,chest infection ,dermatology issues and respiratory diseases are coming in the hospital however they couldnot be provided services due to the disruption of X-ray machine.
