The District Court of Udayapur has ordered to sentence 18 years old Hem Bahadur Karki of Triyuga Motigada for 12 years old after finding him guilty on raping five years old girl. The court has also ordered to compensate the victim with Rs 50,000.
A single bench of district court judge Tirtha Raj KC had given the verdict on September 4. The victim’s family had lodged complaint at District Police Office of Gaighat on September 4 last year.
The victim underwent health checkup at District Hospital on September 3. He was arrested immediately after the complaint and was remanded in custody since then.
