Kamala Giri for six months along with Rs 10,000 penalty and Rs 50,000 compensation after finding her guilty on doing caste based discrimination on Dalit in the name of untouchablity. This is the first sentence given to the person in the district on charge of discrimination.
Human Rights and Social Development Project on July 11 organized a press meet and ordered to sentence the accused after three months of the incident. Another accused Ram Babu Dahal is sentenced for two months as he is under aged.
The accused was charge of doing caste discrimination and beating on 16 years old girl of Bardibas Municipality-4, three months ago on charge of touching public water.
